How can I create a price base for Magic workstation? I want to put in my own price data in an automated fashion. Does anyone know how to read the .mwPrice file format?

All the MWS database files use the Delphi TClientDataset format.

I find the simplest way to get data into a pricebase is to use the existing Import feature that pulls prices from the MagicTraders pricelists. All you need to do is swap your desired prices with the first price encoded in the MagicTraders formatted CSV text files (write your own custom script). I recommend you to use the text files included in the MT_Pricetext.zip on my website, as I have modified the cardnames in those files to more accurately match up with MWS cardnames (947 more cards match in import with my edits than the default download).

Once you have prepared edited text files you can run MWS's price import using those files on your computer to fill a new price base (make a blank one of your choosing first in MWS file menu).
